National Association of Headteachers

At a national level, the Association will provide strategic leadership for the NAHTAspire Programme, and play a key role in ensuring that the services provided are of a high quality and relevant to members needs.

At the regional level, officers will help to coordinate the work of school clusters and provide links to schools and clusters in other areas.

NAHT are collaborating with Teaching School Alliances to assist in the delivery of aspects of the Aspire Programme. An Accreditation model has been developed to ensure that schools across the country share the same Aspire experience.
The University of Derby are responsible for the evaluation of the Pilot Programme and will provide regular progress reports regarding the Programme and its impact.
The NAHT Advisory Group meets three times per year to review the progress of the Aspire movement and to provide strategic advice on future developments. The Advisory Group members come from national education bodies including Ofsted, the National College for Teaching and Learning, the National Governors Association and the UCL Institute of Education.
